WHO WE ARE

Jeffrey Stone is a seasoned real estate executive with extensive experience in the construction and real estate development fields. Mr. Stone has served as the sole licensed qualifying party with direct oversight and direction for over $4.4 billion worth of construction projects.

A 1982 graduate of Miami of Ohio, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing, Stone relocated to Arizona after college and joined a Phoenix developer/contractor. After three years, Stone was named president of the construction division.

Subsequent to the purchase of the construction assets from the David R John's development company, Stone formed Jeffrey C. Stone Inc. dba Summit Builders in 1986. As 90% shareholder, Chairman, President and CEO, Stone provided the day to day leadership, corporate vision and direct oversight for the growth of the company beginning as a start-up and reaching over $375 million in annual revenues. Summit Builders was consistently ranked as one of the Top 400 Contractors worldwide and was named to the Inc. Magazine's top 500 fastest growing companies in 1992.

In 1988, Stone also formed Sun Coast Builders, Inc, which was initially a self-performing general contracting and subcontracting company. Throughout its history, Sun Coast has primarily performed both as a subcontractor to Summit Builders on various projects and as self-performing general contractor. Sun Coast Builders continues in operation as a general contractor under Stone’s ownership.
